They are so kind and polite. Best cake around!
Great food and delicious gluten free options including desserts. One of our favorite food places in the Twin Cities.
Good variety of fresh made salads & sandwiches & very yummy desserts ????
Vanilla tres leches cake is the best!
Excellent salads and soup.
Since relocating to MN almost a year ago, I've been on the hunt for a tres leches dessert that will satisfy my South Florida taste buds. Cafe Latte had been on my list of bookmarked places to go, just wish I would have made it there sooner! I finally stopped by to try their tiramisu tres leches, but the only tres leches they had was salted caramel and it did not disappoint! This will for sure be my go to place for tres leches cravings. Next on my list to try is the tres leches tiramisu!
Best cakes!! I get the tres leches for my birthday every year! The food in the cafeteria line could improve some, but I generally only come for the cake! Worth the trip every time!
Come here for a slice of tres leches or the pate plate. I recently learned that laptops or work are not allowed during the weekends or Friday night.
Got a sweet tooth? You absolutely HAVE to give this place a shot! My family loves the raspberry torte so we usually get one of those instead of a traditional birthday cake cause it's lighter and definitely a lot tastier! I personally am in love with their New York Fruit Tart but my fiancé can't live without their NY classic cheesecake. Honestly, there's a desert there for anyone from tres leches to German chocolate cake, you really can't go wrong
I love the decor of this place. It's a cafeteria style type of restaurant. You stand in line and go down down the lane and pay at the end. There are numerous items to choose from including soups, salads and sandwiches. I arrived with a group of five people and it was easy finding a table. There is seating on the first level and there is also an upper level. I just came for the dessert. There are so many dessert items to choose from! I had the classic German chocolate and the vanilla cheesecake with fresh strawberries. I shall return.
Well the place is great and the food amazing. Is busy but not pack. One side has the delicious soups, salads and dips and the other the amazing cakes and cheese cakes, surely great coffee as well. We had the three dip dish with baguette, tomato and onion in the side. The dips were chicken salad, tuna, and salmon. For dessert I had the chocolate cheese cake, wife had German chocolate and daughter chocolate chocolate. Well what can I said we let loose and definitively enjoyed everything. This was my first time and will be back for more.

I love this place! There are some things you'll want to know before coming here though. Definitely avoid the lunch rush... the line will stretch well out the door if you come right at lunch time - been there, done that. This is a cafeteria style place, so you take a tray through a line and tell the people behind the counter what you want. I always get the spread sampler. (The smoked salmon spread is my personal favorite.) They also have sandwiches, soup, salads... and of course coffee :) . It's a little bit noisy, but that's to be expected at this sort of place. This place also has GREAT desserts! I especially love their turtle cake!!! Their original cheesecake is also divine! I've never been disappointed here, and I would definitely recommend it!
It is a little expensive but definitely worth the money. We tried chocolate chocolate cake and we were in chocolate heaven a moment later. The coffee was also great.
I really like this place for two reasons: their decadent cakes, and the fact that they support non profit organizations. I went to a silent auction for a non profit and won a certificate (which they donated) for a full size cake. I eventually used the certificate on the Chocolate Chocolate Cake for thanksgiving dinner and it was a hit. It was very rich and just the right amount of sweetness. The cake was much bigger than expected but that was good since I had a large group. Since I picked up the cake the night before and I really wanted to eat cake right then and there I also bought a slice of Tres Leches cake and it was delicious!! Even though the chocolate cake was great I would have chosen the Tres Leches cake for thanksgiving instead. Next time I find myself near Grand Ave. I will definitely be making a stop.
They have really good cakes!!! Although it's a little bit pricey, it is still very good. This is the place where I normally come for my cake cravings. The environment there is great. I love how they have an upstairs dining area. I also like the spread samplers. The guacamole with bread is amazing!
This is the cheesecake that made me like cheesecake. Love to stop in for high tea or a spread sampler. Soups are also a safe bet. I tend to spend too much money every time I come, but usually leave with enough for at least one extra meal. The only thing I haven't been crazy about is the tres leche cake, but I think that's just my personal preference - its too wet for my tastes.
